Frequently Asked Questions
Do I bring my mom
or dad to my session?
We require
that you bring at least one parent.
A parent is a valuable assistant for you during the photo shoot; they
can help with clothes, props, hair, etc.. No
parent = no photos, so remember to bring the "parental unit"!
Can I bring a friend
to my shoot?
Yes, in fact we have
special deals if your friend wants pictures too! See
pricing. You can still bring them along even if they don't
want senior pictures. Friends often bring out the best smiles!
How
do I order my pictures?
When we schedule your photo session, we'll also schedule an
Ordering Session about 1-2 weeks after your session.
What is an Ordering Session?
Most clients feel overwhelmed with the ordering process...so
many images, so many cool products, so many print sizes to choose from.
An ordering session provides the opportunity for us to help you choose
the best images and best products to suit your needs.
During the session you get
to see your images big! We project the images on the wall. We help you narrow down your favorite images
by comparing images side by side and offer our
professional advice on various crops, sizes, color effects,
etc. You can also see the various photo products we offer, like our
popular canvas gallery wraps, portfolios, and more. It's a really fun,
casual, low-pressure time to select just the right images for you!
Why is Ordering Session pricing less
than online pricing?
An Ordering
Session eliminates numerous calls and emails to get your questions
answered. It also greatly reduces misunderstandings and ordering errors.
All of this saves us (and you) time. Therefore, our Ordering Session pricing is
less than our online pricing.
Can I order my pictures online?
There are 2 ways you are
able to order online. 1) After your Ordering Session, we'll create an
online gallery that you can share with family and friends and order
additional prints. 2) If you want to opt out of the Ordering Session and
just order online, there is a $250 setup up fee that is then applied to
your order. The Online pricing applies to all online orders.
How many outfit
changes can I have?
It's your time, you decide. We recommend wearing versatile
pants/skirts that can go with 2-3 tops and possibly a jacket. This cuts
down on wasted time changing and gives you more time for photos!
Generally speaking, we recommend 2-3 outfits for a 1 hour session, 3-5
for a 2 hour session.
Does time for outfit
changes count toward my session time?
Yes, time for clothing changes counts as part of your session time,
so plan your outfits ahead of time and have your clothes ready. We're
not going to be checking our watch every 2 minutes, but don't expect an
extra half hour. (Remember that it is sometimes difficult to change in
public places.)
Does travel time for
multiple locations count toward my session time?
Yes. Most of the time we can find
suitable locations that are relatively close to each other; this keeps
travel time to a minimum and have plenty of time for pictures. We've
never had any tell us that they didn't have enough images to choose
from.
What does an online
proof gallery look like?

If you choose to forego the complimentary ordering session,
you and your friends and family can order directly from the online
gallery.
How many images will
I have to choose from?
We don't guarantee a specific amount, but you can expect about
25 for a 1 hour session, about 50 images each hour of your session. We
find that most clients feel overwhelmed when there is more.

How long does it take to receive my
order?
Most orders are delivered in less than 3 weeks from the day the order
was placed.
